Beautiful Backyard Wedding Reception!

This couple had a destination wedding the prior month in Florida. This was a Backyard Wedding Reception at the home of the bride's parents (in Pa.) for all family and friends (including those that could not attend in Florida). There was no wedding ceremony. Just a great party! In my experience, there is always something that happens to make each outside event special and unique. When the weather is nice, you remember the beautiful day. In the case of my daughter's backyard wedding in our home, where Hurricane Irene hit NJ on her wedding day, the wedding ended up being both beautiful (everyone dancing barefoot in the rain) AND quite a memorable adventure! This Backyard Wedding Reception was no exception to being memorable and unique! The details and decorations in the tent were beautiful AND it was 98 degrees that day! While this bride appeared to be very cool in the hot weather, she was also "cool" in her attitude, asking that all attendees (including myself as the photographer) to dress comfortably and casually. (This was the first wedding I ever shot in shorts!) I certainly captured the relaxed and casual vibe for this Backyard Wedding Reception.
