Indian/Hindu Pre-Wedding Ceremony

I shoot many events for Indian families. Many of them include a Hindu religious ceremony. As I've mentioned in other blog posts, one of the joys of being a photographer is the privilege experiencing, learning about, and capturing beautiful events such as these beautiful traditions. I tend to "overshoot" ceremonies such as this to ensure that every important step of the ceremony is captured. The client gets a very large number of edited photos which allows them to choose which moments they feel are the most important. This particular event had many ceremonial traditions which resulted in the the client receiving 942 edited photos covering every aspect of the 5 hours.
