Bat Mitzvah

Most Bar/Bat Mitzvah ceremonies are held in temples, which (most of the time) don't allow photography during the services. While I understand (and respect) the reasoning for this, as a photographer, it sadden's me that much of the beauty, love, and emotions of the proceedings are not captured for posterity. This Bat Mitzvah ceremony (and subsequent luncheon) was held in a lovely hotel, which afforded me the opportunity to capture the entire ceremony! Below are a few of the highlights, which I believe captures the love and emotion of of the ceremony.
