Wedding Cake - 2 different captures

I love the creative aspects of event/wedding photography. These are both of the same cake, taken at the same location (within minutes of each other) without any changes to the lighting in the room. These different effects were the result of adjusting camera/flash settings (and using an additional remote flash on the bottom photo). These images were NOT manipulated on the computer at all.
